  2. Everyone wants to lose weight quickly and although that can give individuals a real boost in self confidence it is not a long term answer. If someone loses weight quickly they need to have a plan for when the 'regime' has finished. Overeating is not driven by 'real hunger' but 'emotional hunger'. Without addressing the emotions and getting to the core of the behaviour any 'regime' can only be a short term fix.
